“LIGA DURA”, Rita Vian’s new album, features 15 new songs written by Rita Vian. In a co-production between the artist and the GOIAS twins (Henrique and António Carvalhal)—a duo who work with artists such as Slow J, Dillaz, and Papillon—the writer and composer explores the impact of her everyday experiences on this new album, transforming them into poems while also exploring the sonic connections between electronic music, traditional Portuguese singing, and urban sounds.

“LIGA DURA” follows “SENSOREAL” (2023), Rita Vian’s first full-length album, in which the artist explored various dimensions—including composition, writing, production, and imagery—using words as her primary tool to convey everything her universe communicates, featuring tracks such as “Animais”, “Podes Ficar”, “Cuido de Mim”, and “Ir Embora”. Her first collection emerged with the EP “CAOS`A” (2021), which won over audiences with tracks like “Trago”, “HPA”, and “CAOS`A.”.

Rita Vian’s live career has been intense, with performances throughout Portugal at theaters and festivals, winning over audiences, programmers, promoters, and the media, with appearances on stages such as NOS Alive, Vodafone Paredes de Coura, Primavera Sound (Porto and Barcelona), Ageas Cooljazz, Bons Sons, and Courage, among others.
